Privacy Policy

This page summarises a document that is executed in Polish. The Polish version is the only binding one; this summary has no legal effect and is provided for orientation. Questions in English are welcome — write to us and we will answer them.

Who the controller is

For your data as a user, the controller is REMEDY GROUP spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, seated in Gdynia, ul. Józefa Bema 15/1, 81-386 Gdynia, Poland. KRS 0001130339, NIP 5862410371. Data protection enquiries: centrum@remedy.com.pl. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

For patient data the split is different: you — or the healthcare provider you work for — remain the controller. We act as a processor, only within the scope that follows from using the service and from the data processing agreement.

What the document covers

• Categories of data — account data, the content you enter into the application, technical and billing data.
• Where processing happens — health data is processed within the European Union.
• Retention — documentation on the free plan is kept for 30 days from creation; on paid plans it is kept indefinitely. Audio recordings are deleted as soon as transcription finishes; if transcription does not complete (for example because a usage limit stopped it), the recording is deleted within 24 hours of upload.
• Your rights — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, plus the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO).
• Self-service — you can delete your account together with its documentation from within the application, without asking us. Other requests, including access and portability, are handled on request at the address given in the policy.
• Sub-processors — categories are listed on the sub-processors page, which also explains how to obtain the list by name.
